Haridwar is a city of Uttarakhand well known for its spirituality and natural beauty around. The city is situated at the bank of river Ganga which makes it most famous across the world for its divine and awe-inspiring Ganga Arti. It is among three holy cities where the Ganga Aarti Rituals are performed. Haridwar literally means ‘the abode of Lord Vishnu’ and millions of people flock here every year. Due to its spirituality and holy nature, the city is meat and alcohol-free.

Dehradun is one of the most beautiful cities to visit in the sub-Himalayan track, nested in the beautiful Doon valley in the lap of the Himalayas. This trip will bring up the most exclusive places and things to do in those places.

[ Itinerary

Receive you from Haridwar Railway Station and get transferred to the Hotel in a private vehicle (Hotel Normal check-in time is 1400 Hrs, early check is subject to availability). Check in at the hotel and relax for a while before your sightseeing tour.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (by own) in the old lanes of Haridwar and get the flavours of local food. Few things one must give a try while at Haridwar are aloopuri, chaat papdi, jalebi, badam milk etc. Start your tour visiting hill top temples Chandi Devi, Mansa Devi. One can take a ropeway (own purchase ticket) to skip walking and get a city view while sitting on the ropeway. Both temples are situated at opposite sides of each other and refer as Siddh Peetha.

Enjoy the evening by getting into the city vibes and experience the ritual of light and sound of Ganga Aarti at Har ki Pauri where the priests perform prayers with bowls of fire and the ringing of the temple bells. Get surrounded by chanting mantras and reflection of the lights off the surface of holy river water float diyas and flowers in the river. Afterwards return back to hotel. Overnight stay.

After the breakfast proceed to Rishikesh and visit explore Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula, visit the Beatles Ashram, and consider Neer Garh Waterfall for a natural break. Return to Haridwar. Afterwards return back to Haridwar hotel. Overnight stay.

After the breakfast drive to Dehradun- The Doon Valley it will be a small drive of two hours. Enjoy the beautiful green valley and river flowing along. Check in into the hotel to get freshen up to explore Doon valley. Visit some of the famous places like Robbers Cave famous for river flows through a narrow, cave like gorge and enjoying views of the disappearing river. Afterwards return back to hotel. Overnight stay.

After the breakfast visit a positive divine at Tapkeshwar temple is one of the most famous temples dedicated to Shiva, situated by the forest side, the main shivalinga at the temple is inside a natural cave. Afterwards return back to hotel. Overnight stay.

After the breakfast, day as leisure activities. Enjoy the beautiful Doon valley climate and local shopping or cafe hopping. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back towards Haridwar. You will be dropped at Haridwar Railway Station to continue your onward journey with beautiful memories.
